I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was in third grade, back before everything from telephones to Teddy Bears came pre-loaded with cameras.
I’ve shot every kind of interesting thing I could find since then. From Ralph Nader rallies to big-time rock shows, friends’ bands in the poorly-lit club down the street, weddings, portraits, cheesecake, kids’ pictures, family celebrations… as long as I could hide behind a camera, I would come to your event.
When shooting professionally, however, my motto is that what I am bringing to the shoot is my camera and a steady hand. What I hope to result from the shoot is not another example of my style, perfectly executed; rather it is to create images that will enable my client to see themselves as they want to be remembered. Boiled down, the shoot is about stroking the clients’ ego, not mine.
Oh yeah, I also clean up old photos real nice. Whether it’s green or red from old age, I can probably salvage it for you.
